Thank you for participating in the Tishman Environment and Design Center’s Evaluation Survey. The Tishman Center has just completed our first 3-year Strategic Plan (2016-2019), which can be found here. This survey  will help us measure our impact,  accomplishments, strengths and weaknesses according to our Strategic Plan goals. It will also help us evaluate how we can best serve our students, staff, faculty, community partners, and visitors. You have been asked to complete this survey because you are an important partner to the Tishman Center. By taking this survey, you are helping us assess our impact and improve accordingly to meet the needs of our community.

The Tishman Center’s mission is to integrate bold design, policy, and social justice approaches to environmental issues in order to advance just and sustainable outcomes in collaboration with communities. Is it our aim to address the increasingly urgent need to integrate design and environment to confront climate change and its social justice impacts.

In 2016, the Tishman Center released its Strategic Plan with three main goals:

GOAL 1: Mobilize the 14,000 faculty, students, and staff at The New School to become fully aware, service-oriented climate citizens
GOAL 2: Become a resource center for environmental justice
GOAL 3: Increase awareness of design, policy, and social justice solutions for sustainability and climate issues

This survey should take 5 minutes or less to complete. Thank you.
